Sim Teck Sing, pipa musician from Malaysia. He is from Muar, Johor. He started learning pipa at the age of 13. He received his Bachelor of Music in Pipa performance at Central Conservatoire Beijing under the guidance of renowned pipa soloist, professor Zhang Qiang. He is actively promoting pipa education by giving lessons and masterclasses. He has held a series of solo concert entitled “The Pipa Journey” in different states of Malaysia in the year of 2018. He has been invited to several countries: Korea, Singapore, Cambodia, Brunei, Japan, China, Taiwan and Australia for pipa performances. He is currently member of Muar Vivo
Society, instructor of Confucian Private Secondary School ,pipa instructor of SJK (C) Yok Bin.

⻢来⻄亚⻘年琵琶演奏家、麻坡凯歌歌乐协会会员、吉隆坡尊孔华乐团教练、芙蓉振华⼆校华乐团教练、⻢六 甲育⺠⼩学琵琶班导师。⽣于⻢来⻄亚柔佛麻坡市，13 岁学习琵琶，启蒙于苏启明⽼师、林永宏⽼ 师。中学就读于麻坡中化中学并参加华乐团。在团期间曾担任弹拨组声部⾸席兼副指挥和担任乐团 独奏演奏员都有良好表现。 2004 年 8 ⽉考获中国北京中央⾳乐学院海外分级考 8 级，随中学毕业后 赴中国北京中央⾳乐学院学习琵琶演奏专业，于 2006 年考⼊中央⾳乐学院学习琵琶演奏专业，师 从著名琵琶演奏家、教育家张强教授。2010 年 7 ⽉毕业于北京中央⾳乐学院，获得琵琶专业演奏学 ⼠学位。毕业回国后积极参与柔甲及吉隆坡⼀带的教学⼯作，并多次受邀担任全国性的华乐训练营 导师。于 2018 年在⻢来⻄亚主办多场《琵琶⾏》巡回独奏⾳乐会。曾代表⻢来⻄亚出访韩国、新加坡、柬埔寨、汶莱、⽇本、中国、台湾、澳洲等国家参与独奏与协奏⾳乐活动。
