Ying Xi Heng (Sara Heng) is a Malaysian guzheng artist. After picking up the guzheng (Chinese zither) at age 12, Sara went on to receive her Masters at Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing with a full scholarship, where she trained in classical Chinese music, as well as contemporary and improvised music. In addition to playing with a number of ensembles in Kuala Lumpur, she is the bandleader of Eight Twelve, an award-winning group which blends Western and Eastern instrumentation. She has actively participated in competitions and her achievements include winning the gold medal at the musical instruments competition of conservatories in China. Sara performs internationally across Singapore, China, Japan, Korea and Cambodia.
王惜盈是来自马来西亚的古筝演奏家。她从12岁开始学习古筝,之后以全额奖学金考入北京中央音乐学院攻读硕士学位,主修中国古典音乐,同时涉猎当代与即兴音乐。除了活跃于吉隆坡多个乐团的演出外,她也是融合中西乐器的获奖乐团——Eight Twelve 的团长。她多次参与各类比赛,并曾获得中国各大音乐学院器乐比赛金奖。Sara 的演出足迹遍布新加坡、中国、日本、韩国及柬埔寨等地。
