钟雪儿毕业于现代音乐学士（荣誉）课程，主修音乐创作，副修编曲、音乐制作、声乐及爵士钢琴。她是Fresco口琴团与Fresco音乐课室的创办人之一，积极推动口琴艺术与音乐教育的发展。

钟雪儿是马来西亚首位在2009与2013年于德国《世界口琴大赛》中连续夺得双人组冠军的女口琴演奏家，自2006年以来共获得十八项国际赛事奖项。2016年签约英国经纪公司Blackburn International UK Ltd，成为首位登上国际五星级邮轮担任主打演出的女口琴家。她多次受邀担任国内外大型口琴节的演出嘉宾及评审，包括亚太口琴节、首尔国际口琴节、台湾国际口琴节及全国口琴节等，并曾担任《高原国际口琴节》策划主席。此外，她亦编写并出版多本口琴教材，积极推动口琴艺术与教育的发展。

Evelyn Choong holds a Bachelor of Contemporary Music (Hons.), majoring in composition with minors in music arranging, music production, vocal performance, and jazz piano. She is the co-founder of Fresco Harmonica and Fresco Music Studio, actively promoting harmonica art and music education.

Evelyn Choong is Malaysia’s first female harmonica artist to win the World Harmonica Doubles Championship twice, in 2009 and 2013 in Germany, and has accumulated 18 international awards since 2006. In 2016, she signed with Blackburn International UK Ltd, becoming the first female harmonica artist to headline performances on international five-star cruises. She has been invited as a guest performer and judge at major harmonica festivals such as the Asia Pacific Harmonica Festival, Seoul International Harmonica Festival, Taiwan International Harmonica Festival, and the National Harmonica Festival. Evelyn also served as the organizing chairwoman of the Highlands International Harmonica Festival and has published several harmonica lesson books, contributing greatly to the promotion of harmonica art and education.
